Printed for Alan Clodd in an edition of 105 copies fifteen of which are reserved for the author. This is one such copy with the words “Author’s copy” written in where the number should be. Inscribed on the flyleaf “To Joyce with love from Frances”.

John Tessimond (1902-62) was a poet who lived at Jubilee Place in Chelsea in the late 1920s and 30s where he befriended the artists Ceri and Frances Richards.
